Our 2nd Floor Cake 2024
Our 2nd Floor Cake / 2024
I made a piece to remember how happy my sister and I were by gathering memories of the past.
< Happy Memories with Haeram >
-
Haeram and I have birthdays only 12 days apart. One day, Dad's friend bought us a two-tier cake as a birthday present. We were so enchanted by the first two-tier cake we had ever received that we just stared at it without even touching it.
-
Bus number 101, which we waited for every day at the bus stop for Mom to come back from work.
-
When we lived on the first floor of the villa, there was a magnolia tree outside our window. We picked magnolia flower buds and played with them, pretending to cook.
-
We both loved the jellyfish section of the encyclopedia. We would choose pretty jellyfish and put a circle around them to claim them as our own.
-
After art class, we would buy filled buns from the bakery, and we would be fascinated watching the bun-making machine spinning.
-
The memory of going to the rice cake skewer truck with 500 won to eat 250 won rice cake skewers.
-
There were a lot of dragonflies at the playground. We caught dragonflies and fed them to the chickens in the backyard.
-
The days we went out to find four-leaf clovers after school. We wandered around until it got dark, searching for four-leaf clovers without realizing how quickly time passed.
-
On snowy days, we ate roasted sweet potatoes while waiting for Dad and Mom. I still remember the warmth and sweetness when Dad blew on the hot sweet potato and put it in my mouth.
-
When it suddenly rained after school, Haeram and I walked home in the rain. We envied our friend's mom who came to pick her up with an umbrella.
-
The playground where we played together every day. I feel so sorry for dropping Haeram from the monkey bars and the seesaw. I'm sorry. I couldn't play well with you, sis.
